Individuals or entities who own the copyright in programming that aired on public television or that represent those who do.
What are Cable Retransmission Royalties?
Cable Retransmission Royalties are funds collected from cable companies for retransmitting public television and other channels beyond their service area to distant subscribers. These royalties are intended to compensate copyright owners of programs that were aired on those channels.
